Founded in 2013, Toy Trains & Collectibles is open at 7216 New Market Court, Manassas. The store is owned by Hope and Dan Danielson, and is operated by them and their children and grandchildren—-three generations enjoying trains together.

This is an 1800 square foot store dedicated to all things trains. Trains, track, and accessories are available in Standard, G, O, O-27, S, HO, N and occasionally Z gauges. A wide selection of Lionel, MTH, Bachmann, Williams, Atlas and Kato trains and accessories are on the shelves. There is a large assortment of track to choose from. There are transformers big and powerful, as well as small ones that will get the job done. There are buildings and cars and scenery and people to populate any train layout large or small. A 7’ x 11’ operating train layout is on display in the front window.

In addition to stocking current merchandise, Toy Trains & Collectibles has a large selection of vintage new and used trains and accessories. Expert train repairs are available.

Collectible items also available at Toy Trains & Collectibles include vintage tin toys, Dime Store figures, dolls, train-related Christmas ornaments, and small silver items. There’s something to catch everyone’s interest.

Hope and Dan have been active collectors and operators in the toy train hobby for more than fifty years each. They are members of Train Collectors Association (TCA), Toy Train Operating Society (TTOS), National Capital Trackers Modular Railroad, and the National Christmas Tree Railroad (which operates G gauge trains around the National Christmas Tree in President’s Park in front of The White House). They have served as officers and directors of several toy train organizations, and have both served as chairperson of the National Toy Train Museum in Strasburg, PA.
